As diversity becomes more celebrated in the culture of successful companies, the mountain of evidence has grown to show the value in Diversity: the most diverse companies are more likely than ever to outperform less diverse peers on profitability.
As Coyans we have always embraced our diversity and in line with our credo “Protecting People, Pets and Planet”, we want to promote and celebrate the diversity in our community with you.
We are, therefore, delighted to celebrate National Diversity Day with the diverse Coya community (pets are included!)
In February 2020 our founder Andrew signed the Diversity Charter, sending a clear signal for diversity and tolerance. The Diversity Charter is a project started by the association Charta der Vielfalt which operates under the aegis of Dr. Angela Merkel.
We are a highly diverse and international team spanning all corners of the globe
To share our diversity with our colleagues, customers, and community, Coyans were invited to share a favorite recipe. The dish could either come from their own country of origin or from a trip where they got to know the dish. All recipes were collected, beautifully prepared (with pictures), and sent to all Coyans as a digital cooking booklet on 26th of May. Because what better way to celebrate our differences than through something that brings us all together - food! Sure, we are not perfect in every diversity facet, but we are working on it…
We, as an organization, want to commit ourselves more to the topic diversity, by continuing to follow the principles of the Charta der Vielfalt. We are committed to creating a working environment that is free of prejudice and that the appreciation of all Coyans, regardless of their gender and gender identity, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity is essential to us.
More information on the content of the Diversity Charter and the points to which we have committed ourselves by signing it can be found here.
